Description
A very good quality French bronze Rococo style antique mantel clock on stand with serpentine shaped case and scrolling leaf design throughout finished with flowers to the top. There are inset fretted sound panels to the front and sides with gold silk behind.
The clock has a decorative brass dial with white enamel Roman numerals and a French eight day duration movement with outside count wheel which strikes the hours and half hours on a bell.
The movement is stamped with the makers name - Japy Freres
The clock movement has been cleaned and serviced and comes with a 12 month guarantee.
