18th Century Irish Period Wall Mirror

George II carved giltwood mirror with a broken swan-neck pediment centred by a cartouche above carved rosettes and leaf decoration. The mirror bevelled plate is without and is set within a panelled and sanded surround, the shaped apron with carved scrolling ears, rosettes and centred by a pair of floral motifs. The inner and outer surround is carved with stiff leaf borders and flanked with trailing oak leaf sides.
