Description
Late George III Sheraton period inlaid mahogany pedestal sideboard.
The sideboard is inlaid throughout with the original intricate inlays with urns and harebells on recessed figured mahogany panels. The centre section conceals a long oak lined drawer with the pedestals retaining one single short drawer to each section.
The pedestal drawers sit above recessed panelled cupboard doors that stand on the original turned feet. The richly decorated sideboard is on the cusp of the 19th century and therefore I have dated it around 1795-1805.
