Description
An antique late 19th century Austrian terracotta life-size pug puppy, modelled standing on all four legs and wearing a collar. The sculpture captures a playful and confident young dog character, with the chest held upright and a charming puppy expression.
Fitted with orange glass eyes, the piece has a lively presence and is well observed in form and proportion. It remains in good condition, making it a delightful decorative object and a natural companion to the larger pug example.
